My name is Kylie Madison Dennis and I am a sophomore at Texas State University. I am majoring in Advertising and Mass Communication with a minor in theatre. I have two West Highland Terriers back at home in Flower Mound, which is in the Dallas area and they’re the loves of my life. I grew up inspired by the arts and all things creative including playing multiple instruments, dancing, painting, and acting. I’ve been dressing up and pretending to be different characters ever since I can remember and have always been obsessed with makeup.
Being involved in theatre and always helping out with costumes and makeup design I began to develop a passion for makeup and being able to enhance or change one’s appearance just by using different types of makeup. Many influencers now, especially on YouTube create makeup tutorial like videos to show how to do different looks and what brands they like and etc., although I plan to showcase different looks I create on this platform, I also hope to bring awareness and insight on why makeup has such an impact on not just my life but many other peoples. As well as share what top brands are leading today’s market and my favorites that not only I, but many of my close friends trust and rely on. I also hope to share on this blog different creations I come up with and design and other people as well and why they love makeup. My audience is for anyone and everyone, boy or girl, young or old. This blog is a place where I can share my passion with other people who appreciate the makeup industry as much as I do and who just want to be able to be themselves without judgment. I hope to bring awareness to the importance of the fact that makeup is truly for everyone and how there are so many possibilities for it and how much makeup can change a person’s attitude.
I know some people may see this blog and think ‘oh great another beauty blogger’ but that’s not what I want to be known as. I want to create awareness and share my love of makeup and other peoples. I want to show off what I can do and hopefully be able to share other’s work as well and just be able to share why I love makeup so much and why it has had an impact on my life and many others as well.
Side note: This is my first time blogging so it may take me a couple of tries to get the hang of it and find my voice but I’m so excited to get to share on here.
